Looking for a space to practice creative collaboration? As a participant in this workshop, you will have the opportunity to share a performance piece that is meaningful to you—whether that's a solo movement piece, an original poem, a monologue from your favorite play, or something else! After the initial sharing, participants will use these prepared pieces as inspiration to create short performances in collaboration with one another. Performers of all experience levels are welcome; come play with us!

Laila Sahir (she/her) is an actor and theater artist based in Minneapolis. Currently, she is most interested in working on stories that challenge assumptions about who holds power and why. In addition to her acting, Laila has done work in directing, teaching, stage management, and crew work. In these various roles, Laila has worked with New Arab American Theater Works, Walking Shadow Theatre Company, Mixed Blood Theatre, Full Circle Theatre Company, the Birth Play Project, and others. She has a BA in Theatre and Psychology from Luther College.
