ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Explore movement for the stage in a fun and relaxed atmosphere! In this workshop we will use rhythm and movement to create characters and dynamic spaces on stage by bringing a simple story to life using the actor tools of body, voice and imagination.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

TAOUS KHAZEM is a director, actress, and educator. She has received a Fox Fellowship through TCG, a Jerome Travel/Study Grant, the MRAC Next Step, Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grants, Arts Education Grants, and a Minnesota Travel Grant. She has self produced three plays Tizi Ouzou, In Algeria They Know My Name and Sunrise at Midnight. Taous trained at the Jacques Lecoq International Theatre School in Paris.
